My name is Julie and I am your Success Mentor

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, my father was an Air Force lieutenant who started his own company following his discharge. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, I was always more interested in working (and making money) than being in school full time.

I graduated high school early and went straight into the workforce. I was positively itching to find out what success could mean for me. While all my friends went to big universities, I started my career in the city.[/text_block]

The moment I realized I wanted more

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]For 5 years after high school, I found myself juggling monotonous tasks, climbing corporate ladders, and feeling like I was stuck inside a hamster wheel. I felt like I was betraying myself, settling for this ridiculous rat race that just didn’t click. I was uninspired and felt I was lacking passion.[/text_block]
[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]But progress is progress, and I remained patient. I juggled full time evening school with 2 jobs, warning great income and investing my money with care. At the age of 23, while many of my friends were first entering the workforce, I quit my corporate job and purchased a multi-unit franchise.

Purchasing the franchise brought me my first taste of success. I finally got to make the decisions and choose my team, but found myself constantly stressed at sheer weight of responsibility. I knew deep down that this was not my dream.[/text_block]

I soon realized that I didn’t own the franchise – it owned me.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Following 8 years of hard work, little payoff, and lots of stress-filled days, I sold my business with the intention of becoming a stay-at-home mom, something I’d dreamed of doing since my childhood. My own mother was a stay-at-home mom, and I owe her so much for being present and active in my life growing up. I wanted to offer my children the same.

Although I knew my life was taking shape in new and exciting ways, it was SUCH a different lifestyle that I felt completely jarred by the transition. Going from successful entrepreneur working 24/7 to full time mom – I started to feel lost. Don’t get me wrong, I was happier than ever, but I knew that a huge part of my identity was lacking stimulation. I had lost the part of myself that dominated the road to success, and I missed the challenges that journey offered me.[/text_block]

It was then I stopped thinking in terms of “work vs. mom”.
Why couldn’t I have the best of both worlds?

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”center”]I started dabbling in direct sales to make extra income and meet other like-minded women, but even working part time, my drive to succeed began to pull me away from my family. I had to go back to the drawing board – there had to be another way. All the options I found had me working on someone else’s schedule, and nothing seemed to fit.[/text_block]

That’s when I discovered the world of Network Marketing.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]After years of searching for an ideal solution to my work/life balance problem, I was ready to give up. Then four years ago, I met a woman who introduced me to a company that promoted the exact lifestyle I had been craving.

I was finally encouraged to create my own schedule, leverage my work time with family time, and create a healthy side income. I jumped at the opportunity to build a business and love my life, seeing for the first time a light at the end of the tunnel that spelled out 2 words: TOTAL freedom.[/text_block]

Trailblazing a Path to Success!

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]It wasn’t always easy..nothing worth having ever is.  This profession is about marketing and promoting that’s usually pursued by people who have no idea how to market and promote so there is a need to study this profession.  However, with the right Mentor, the right skill set and mindset.. the sky is the limit.  Of course I had doubts about my ability to perform outside of a traditional office environment, and received objections from close friends which made me feel inadequate, unprepared, and unable to lead with purpose (the way I had always dreamed).

That’s when everything changed. The woman who introduced me to this profession took it upon herself to mentor me in this new industry. She offered me motivation, and believed in me before I believed in myself. I was encouraged to study my new profession and especially those who were most successful that went before me – what were they doing differently?[/text_block]

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]I knew that in order to succeed, I needed direction and a system to duplicate, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. It wasn’t easy – far from it. It takes time to build the foundations of a successful network marketing career, but working with Mentors while investing in myself and my future.. it led me there faster than I ever could have gotten on my own.

I attended Leadership Training’s and Seminars, learning from the best of the best (including Eric Worre, Tanya Aliza, Bob Heilig, Stephanie Nickolich, Emily Williams, Lisa Nichols, and Jack Canfield). I listened to podcasts, CD’s, and read incredible books. Above all, I practiced. I gained the experience necessary to excel in my business and be a mentor to others struggling to make the grade.[/text_block]

It wasn’t always pretty but I learned to accept fear and to face adversity…

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Every time I got knocked down, I rose with vengeance. What held me down most was my own ego getting in the way, whispering subconscious fears when I least needed them, and creeping into my daily workflow. My mentor was able to recognize these symptoms and instill in me the psychology of a true marketing superstar.

“The Road to Success Begins and Ends with a Powerful Mindset” – Julie

I learned that managing a business is 20% structures and 80% mindset. Your business could have everything set up perfectly, but without the right approach, you’re going to get left in the dust. Just take a look at people who hit it big in your own company – what are they doing differently? They have access to the same amazing products and resources, so what’s the big deal?[/text_block]

The investments you make in your future will set you apart.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Investing in a mentorship brought me closer than ever to true success. Everything changed once I had a positive influences in my corner, pushing me past my boundaries I set for myself and facing the doubts that had plagued me at the start.

As a success mentor and coach, I share with my clients exactly how to overcome these obstacles, letting them lead a life of total abundance and fulfillment while growing their business and leveraging their time.[/text_block]

Now I know the true meaning of success.

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Today, I inspire others to be bold, take control of their life and offer them guidance along the way.   My influence continues to grow exponentially both inside and outside my company.   I’m proud to say that I finally found the perfect life/work balance that I had always dreamed for myself since I first entered the workforce at 17. I’ve hosted live training expos, podcasts and leadership seminars; won trips through my company, became a 6 figure income earner within my first 14 months, and I’m on track to becoming a company Millionaire. On top of all that, I’m able to run my 2 business’ from my Chicago home. I call myself the CEO of our household (both as a mom and in the office). My relationship with my husband continues to grow (10 years this May!) and am proud of the time I’ve been able to dedicate to my 2 little boys.[/text_block]
